Today’s Public Software Valuation and Financial Performance: The SEG Internet Index – Commerce Product Category

In the month of January, the Commerce product category achieved a median EV/Revenue multiple of 1.4x, TTM Revenue Growth of 19.5%, and EBITDA Margin of 9.3%.  Notable companies outperforming their respective category include:

  • Alibaba with a 18.7x EV/Revenue multiple
  • com with a 83.8% revenue growth
  • Alibab with a 41.9% EBITDA margin
